Suburb Profiles -   Riverstone

In 1803 a government stock farm was established in what was to become the Riverstone/Marsden Park area, on the basis of the abundant water supply and good grazing land there. In 1810 Lieut-Col Maurice Charles O'Connell was granted 2,500 acres (10 km²) of land in the district, which he named "Riverstone Farm", after his birthplace in Ireland.

If you’ve kept your eyes on the local market you’d well know Riverstone has enjoyed some generous growth over the recent 12 months and this would be due to ongoing development and town upgrades that will are taking place in the heart of Riverstone. Only 48 kilometres west of Sydney CBD and a short 10 minute drive to the Rouse Hill Town Centre, Riverstone is the perfect example for improved real estate.
